TV

"America's Next Top Model" is my favorite TV show. There are aggregious and entertaining in this show. Tyra Banks is one of top TV moderators, she also is my idol who has charming and humour. The show becomes more and more fashional and popular in her hand. Not only she is a top model and moderator, but also is a strong business woman. Now, today, The 15th circle is running, more difficulties and cheallenges in front of the challengers. Who will be the America's next top model? We will see.......

This is our(liwin, yadira and me) first glog that present our effort's crystallization. No matter what the interview, presentation, and the design of glog, which all come from our discussion and thinking. I love the building- Chicago Culture Center. This is a historical building that there is the world's largest Tiffany stained-glass dome, as well as beautiful multi-colored mosaics.When we arrived there, there are several display and exhibition about art and photography. Sara is a super nice girl, we are so lucky to interview her. I think it must be the fate between us.

Technology

To be honest, I cannot live without internet in my life. This is the information age that requires high work's efficiency. The internet is the most updated technology that renew information. So, if I want to find something I need, internet will be the first choice of mine. Now, in the world, I believe that almost people accept that the internet as the frequently-used method to search resources and connet friends. Along with the development of science, the internet will be more and more powerful.

Movie

"Tear This Heart Out" (the pictures on the left)was the current movie I had watched . This movie is the story about a young girl recounts her girl hood and the marriage to a general of Mexican in about 20 years. I think this girl is so lucky but pity. No doubt that she gets the fortune and power from her husband, the general. but she lost her happy, freedom, and the musician she loved. Finally, she understand the "things" that she really want, and she begins the new life when her husband died. There are so many desires in our whole life, some are good goals to chase, but some could confuse your eyes. Please watch them clearly, because our life is only once!

I am a super fan of historical feature film(the pictures on the right). In "The Last Emperor", Bernardo gives us a strong Chinese flavor, Magificent scenes, rich camera language and smooth action. You seem to go back to the Forbidden City and experience the same obstacles with the actors at that time. No doubt that this is the most authentic film I have never seen. Valentino said:" The Last Emperor is a fashion." I absolutely agree with this point. The make-up, the hairdo, the clothes, the style of conversation and manner......all come from the Chinese classical beauties that send out unique charm and verve in this movie. That is the reason why so many people love Chinese culture.

Music

My favorite song is "close to you". I love the lyric of it very much. "On the day that, you are born, the angles got together, and decided to created the dreams come ture....." it seems to say a story of beautiful dream. I like Ono Liza because she is the special singer who has half-blood of music. My favorite type of music is Blue Jazz. Soft, romance, just likes a warm wind, and bring you to the place which full of love.

Reading

I think I have something of the article "Rule of Thumbs: Love in the Age of Texting" in a different way. In this article, the arthor describe the relationship between her and her boyfriend. She recongized that it is so mean that her boyfriend just use texting message to keep up each other. I have a friend, he is a very shy boy that hasn't self-confident. He decide that he will find the girl that accept texting as the major way to hold together . I think we should discuss case by case. If the couple just want to text to each other, let them go, it is not our business.

Culture Identity

"I have a dream" is the point of my thinking. In my opinion, every girl wants to be the most beautiful bride in the world, and me too. I am the girl who has the same dream when I sleeping. The lovely wedding cake, the glogeous wedding dress, the bling bling high heel, the sweet candy, the wonderful wedding place, the attrative perfume, the huge diamond ring, the dream car of mine, the dedicate ball-flower and the handsome guy next to you.......All of these are the elements of the perfect wedding. This is the hope for every young girl.

Pop Culture

I saw the blue sky in America when the airplane was landing. There are not many high building in Chicago, but the air is cleaner and fresher than my hometown. I love museums in Chicago so much. They are so glorious and classic. I think the most differences between Guangzhou and Chicago are the quality of people, the life style and the thinking way of people. When I go to school, I can make friends with people who come from different country, and touch their cultures, hobbies and religions. That is really amazing to me.I come from the oriental country--China. Chinese culture is absolutely different from the western. If I want to settel in and put down roots in here, I must learn how to get well along with the people of western. This is the reason why I take this class. The class would help me to blend in American life. I think I must achieve success through step by step, I trust there is not the goals that we cannot finish, only the people who refused to work hard.
